Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia West/Lexington

This hotel had it all! The employees were very nice and helpful. Anything we needed they provided-even extra pillows, blankets and towels. The breakfast was phenomenal too. Very quiet and plenty of room to sit in the lobby and visit with family. Extra kudos to the front desk clerks and the custodians who keep the grounds immaculate. A extra thank you to the clerk Mia , she was fantastic and patient in helping us figure out a future reservation. Yes, I watched one lady from my hotel window sweep the entire parking lot with a broom and dust pan when it was 30 degrees in the morning. This will be my go to hotel when visiting Columbia.

Very friendly staff. Great location with a variety of food within walking distance. My room on the first floor showed its age a bit around the bathroom. Overall would stay here again. Great value. Breakfast was also good.

First let me give several shoutouts to Emily and Dan. Emily is a full of vigor, pleasant, and wonderful front desk attendant. On a friday when the weekend is about to commence, she was welcoming, positive and very helpful. You dont always get that at hotels, even when it comes to a name like Marriott, but I was very pleased with my check in process. Saturday evening after coming from my event, I encountered Dan, who was just as accommodating, when I asked where the ice machine was. He explained it was on the 2nd floor, but was happy to get me ice from the kitchen. I insisted that id get it only because I wanted to walk the food off that I had eaten prior to returning to the hotel. In hindsight, I should have taken him on that offer because the ice machine upstairs was either down, or wasnt working. Regardless, I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and comfortable, and I love the fact that the AC worked very well. I like to sleep cold and comfortable. Ill definitely visit this location when I come back into town,

Nicole at the front desk was super friendly and got us checked in a few hours early. Unfortunately, the suite we were assigned had a broken lock and the maintenance man didn't know when/if it could be fixed, so we were moved/ downgraded to a standard room. The breakfast spread was decent, but the powdered eggs were horrible. Overall, a clean and friendly hotel with great proximity to I-20, I-26, and the hospital directly across the street.

The staff here are some of the most helpful I have experienced at a Marriott. The rooms are very clean and well stocked. I need some help where I was pleasantly greeted by Mya at the front desk. She was very helpful and resolved my issue. I have to giver her and the hotel Kudos.

Rooms are spacious & clean and location is prime. I am here all week and I've only been here two days and I must brag on Emily B. at the front desk. She is absolutely fabulous and exudes what true customer service is! She aims to please and ensures that the guests needs are met no matter how small the task or request. She is management material and Marriott needs to invest in her because you know your guests are well taken care of!!

Although they serve breakfast everyday. There's no bar or restaurant for room service or dinner. The good thing is that there are several restaurants around the hotel that you can even walk to. Plus, the staff was very friendly.

Rooms are beautiful. Staff was great. We were here for graduation. We got up early at 3am hight auditor was extremely polite and professional. We did not really interact with other staff. The down side the shower does not get hot or warm its cool water and not something you want first thing at 3am . The tv remotes do not work very well
